Things worth sending
- A tip or a document about a sale, a change of backer or a change in how a practice is owned. Say what the item is, where it comes from and whether we may rely on it.
- A press statement from a party to a deal. We read them, but one is the start of a report, not a report.
- An error, with the page address and the line concerned. The process is on Set It Right.
- A reply from a firm or person we have written about. Mark the message "Right of reply" and tell us what you want put right or added.
Please do not send
Requests for a favourable profile or for a link. Questions asking whether to sell a practice, how to value one or what tax follows a sale: we are a publication, not an adviser, and we cannot answer them.
Confidentiality
Mark anything that must not be published or attributed. We will tell you before we use a message in a way you did not expect. Please keep in mind that e-mail is not a secure channel.
